South Leeds adventure park hosts Castleford Tigers’ summer party
An adventure park at a South Leeds garden centre hosted a summer party for Castleford Tigers recently.
91 of the rugby league club’s season ticket holders, players and families enjoyed an afternoon of fun with mascot JT at Mission Out at Tingley Garden Centre.
Among the people enjoying the fun was first team prop forward Liam Watts: “JT’s summer party was a well-organised day out for the family. There was raft racing, obstacle courses, zip lines, mini golf and much more. Everyone enjoyed the afternoon, and even parents joined in. It was a brilliant afternoon for everyone.”
“The weather wasn’t great, but it didn’t stop everyone having a great time as they jumped on giant pillows, raced on rafts and scrambled on the assault course. We can’t wait to welcome JT and his crew back, ” said Gemma Simpson, manager of Mission Out.
It was the second time that Mission Out has hosted an event for Castleford Tigers. In December, Tingley Garden Centre welcomed players and mascot JT to an exclusive family ice skating session for their business partners.
Suitable for children aged seven and over, Mission Out is a 4.8-acre outdoor adventure play attraction that features high ropes, water activities, a jump challenge pillow, giant swings, den-building, and adventure golf. It is open daily during the summer holidays and during term time for school and corporate team-building days.
Tingley Garden Centre is part of the Yorkshire Garden Centres family that comprises Tong, Tingley, Otley, Bingley, Dean’s Scarborough and Dean’s York Garden Centres.
