UKREiiF wins Raising the Bar Award

The UK’s Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF) has picked up an award at the Raising the Bar Awards 2024, hosted by the West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce.

The Raising the Bar Awards honours the most ethical and socially responsible businesses across West and North Yorkshire, recognising their dedication to supporting their communities and making a positive social impact. The event features categories across three key pillars: Environment, Education, and Community, with awards further divided to acknowledge the contributions of small, medium, and large businesses in each area.

UKREiiF received the Raising the Bar Award for Education in recognition of their outstanding efforts in supporting the next generation of workers across the region. The award highlights UKREiiF’s success in fostering skill development within the industry and providing tangible evidence of their impact in shaping future talent.

Broadcaster Andrew Edwards, awards show host, said: “Tonight, we will be sharing with you how businesses empower and encourage employees to go the extra mile in the Bradford, Leeds, York and North Yorkshire region.

“The nature of these awards is not just about the accolade. It’s about giving recognition to all those businesses who strive to improve the places where we live and the lives of people that live here.

“Congratulations to all the winners.”

Nathan Spencer, Managing Director at UKREiiF, said: We are incredibly proud to receive the Raising the Bar Award for Education. This award is a testament to our commitment to nurturing future talent and ensuring the industry is equipped with the skills it needs to thrive. We believe in investing in the next generation, and this recognition reinforces the positive impact we’re making in supporting young people and developing vital industry expertise across the region.”

UKREiiF is supported by some of the biggest UK property and infrastructure companies, the fourth annual event will be held in Leeds on 20-22 May 2025. The forum will attract inward investment, generate economic growth, and drive a more sustainable and inclusive culture within the property and construction industries.
