Bradford BID to host charity Sing-a-Long Bingo in support of Jude’s Urban Kitchen
Bradford BID is excited to host its inaugural charity social event to raise funds for local organisation, Jude’s Urban Kitchen.
The Sing-a-Long Bingo event will take place at The Underground on Thursday, 14th November, at 7pm.
Jonny Noble, Chief Executive of Bradford BID said: “This event is a great opportunity for the local community, including BID members, friends, and family, to come together for a fun evening, while also supporting a fantastic local charity. We’d love to see businesses and residents join us as we get into the festive spirit in the lead up to the Christmas celebrations.”
Tickets cost £5 and include a welcome drink, plus three games of the popular alternative to traditional bingo which involves ticking off songs from a special musical playlist. Profit proceeds will be going to the charity, along with additional funds raised from a prize raffle held on the night.
Juli Thompson, founder of Jude’s Kitchen which is part of Inn Churches added: “We’re delighted to have the support of the BID for this event. It promises to be a fun and memorable evening, and we’re truly grateful to all those participating to help raise crucial funds for our work.”
Jude’s Urban Kitchen provides affordable meals and essential cookery classes to Bradford residents, promoting healthier lifestyles and imparting vital life skills. As part of Inn Churches, the charity plays a pivotal role in addressing food insecurity in the community.
Tickets for the event can be purchased from The Underground website at https://www.undergroundbradford.co.uk/
