Dan Jones of Neo G wins The International Award

Dan Jones of Neo G has won The International Award as part of The LDC Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders programme for 2024, in partnership with The Times.

Created by trusted investment partner LDC – part of Lloyds Banking Group, The Top 50 celebrates entrepreneurs demonstrating remarkable ambition, and is now in its seventh year.

This year the programme received more than 700 nominations showcasing the exceptional individuals building successful and growing businesses right across the UK.

The business leaders featured in The LDC Top 50 for 2024 are making a real impact by creating jobs, promoting social equality, championing sustainability, expanding internationally and integrating purpose into their business practices. They operate from 39 towns and cities across the UK and span every sector of the economy, whilst collectively they employ 5,146 people and generate revenues of more than £1.1bn.

Presented at a celebratory event at BAFTA in London, the awards were decided by the experienced judging panel of Carl Castledine of Away Resorts; Janette Martin of Talos360; Luke Consiglio of The Pantry and The Most Ambitious Business Leader 2023; John Garner of LDC; and Kate Bassett and Bex Burn-Callander, editors of The LDC Top 50 2024.

Under Dan’s stewardship revenues at Neo G have doubled. He was recognised for achieving significant success overseas, particularly in the US where Neo G partners with major American retailers such as Walgreens, CVS, Walmart and the hospital group, Kaiser Permanente. In 2023, Dan led the expansion of the business’s US operations and moved into a new purpose-built facility in Florida to support future growth. Today, more than two thirds of Neo G’s revenues come from overseas.

Dan Jones, CEO of Neo G, said: “Pain is not exclusive to one demographic or geography, and we have successfully expanded internationally through our continual focus on developing efficacious products that help consumers achieve their best health.

“People trust Neo G to help them stay active, which is a huge responsibility and privilege. This recognition is a testament to the work of our entire team, who are committed to innovation, quality, and customer care. Thank you to LDC and The Times for this prestigious acknowledgement.”

John Garner, Managing Partner at LDC, added: “It’s been seven years since we launched The LDC Top 50 and in that time we’ve had the privilege of meeting some truly remarkable people. Our business leaders for 2024 show relentless drive and determination in their growth ambitions.

“Dan has grown Neo G into a truly global business and it is brilliant example of the export and operational success that British businesses can achieve. With further international expansion on the horizon, there’s still much more to come from Neo G and I’d like to congratulate Dan on his success – he’s a very deserving winner.”
