Andrew Jackson advises on Northallerton residential development scheme
Regional law firm Andrew Jackson Solicitors LLP is delighted to have advised North Yorkshire-based James Partnership, which specialises in residential property development and ‘change of use’ schemes, on the purchase of a development site consisting of agricultural barns for conversion into residential dwellings located near Northallerton, North Yorkshire.
The land currently comprises an attractive set of redundant agricultural outbuildings, which James Partnership plans to convert into a range of unique and characterful residential dwellings including a large, detached house, which once functioned as the farm’s grain storage barn.
James Partnership was advised on the purchase by Sam Peake, real estate & property partner at Andrew Jackson Solicitors LLP.
John James, owner of James Partnership, said: – “We have over two decades expertise of reviving historical buildings, including the conversion of redundant farm buildings. We are delighted to be able to breathe new life into the buildings which enjoy wonderful views; we intend to create high quality accommodation to be cloaked in heat-treated timber cladding along with a ‘standing seam’ zinc roof and substantial gardens.
“We have really appreciated the help and commercial guidance that Sam Peake has provided throughout the purchase, which has enabled us to move swiftly with this latest development scheme.”
