TWC Facilities & Kodiak Self Storage support the local community with generous contributions
TWC Facilities Ltd, a Thirsk based washroom services company, has once again demonstrated its dedication to supporting the local Thirsk community by donating 30 sleeping bags to the Thirsk Homeless Organisation (THO) as part of their Christmas Appeal. This will help to provide warmth and comfort to individuals in need during the winter months.
In addition, TWC Facilities staff actively donated essential items to further assist THO’s efforts. These donations were distributed around local homeless shelters and organisations in York, Northallerton, Middlesbrough and Leeds.
Martin Williams, Director of both TWC Facilities and Kodiak Self Storage in Sowerby, Thirsk, has provided his support by donating the use of a storage unit at Kodiaks brand new self-storage facility in Sowerby, to both THO and Sports Wear for All (SWFA). SWFA is an inspiring not-for-profit initiative that helps children participate in sports by providing a loan and swap service for boots, sports trainers, and other equipment. The storage container offers these organisations a secure space to store their donations and supplies, enabling them to expand their outreach.
“Being involved in the local community and supporting incredible initiatives like these is something we have always tried to do whenever we can,” said Martin Williams. “The work being done by THO and SWFA is so impressive, and I’m delighted that we can support their efforts to make, real differences, to local people’s lives.”
