Honorary Treasurer for IDAS (Independent Domestic Abuse Service): Recruiting Now
IDAS are currently recruiting for an Honorary Treasurer to work on our Board of Trustees.
IDAS is a domestic abuse and sexual violence charity that supports anyone impacted in North Yorkshire, as well as Barnsley, Sheffield and Doncaster. Our work supports thousands of families every year, changing lives through practical and emotional support.
We offer a number of specialist support services. These include our work in Family Court, military, and healthcare. We also have our own refuges across North and South Yorkshire, providing safe spaces for those leaving abuse.
This is an exciting time for IDAS. We are implementing our strategy to grow our accommodation offer to survivors and will be undertaking work to review our wider strategy in the coming year.
We are looking for someone who will lead Board-level activities to monitor IDAS’s financial performance and sustainability, help to ensure that we have robust financial policies and processes in place, and support other dedicated Board members to fulfil their collective responsibilities around finance.
If you think this might be the role for you, we would love to hear from you.
Closing date: 9am Monday 2nd March 2026
