We are looking for a local entrepreneur / business owner / team member to be a guest speaker at our upcoming event.
Our Changemaker Challenge Days are high energy events that bring up-to 30 secondary school students together to meet a local entrepreneur/business colleague, undertake an intensive enterprise challenge and develop their creativity, resilience and life skills.
The session you will be involved in will only last 30 minutes and you won’t be required to stay for the whole day.
We would ask for you to talk about your role and company that you work for, how you ended up there, any interesting facts that will engage the students, ensuring it is pitched at a level suitable for Year 8 students. The presentation from yourself needs to be no longer than 15 minutes, and if you have any visuals / slides you can use this would be great. We will then have 15 minutes of questions from the students. You will need to arrive 10-15 minutes before you are due to deliver.
