‘Yorkshire’s Finest’ – Photobook of famous faces from Yorkshire to raise funds for York Against Cancer
Local award-winning photographer, David Charles, has captured stunning portrait photographs of some of the most well-known Yorkshire celebrities, put together in a superb hardback book – ‘Yorkshire’s Finest.’
‘Yorkshire’s Finest’ has been created over the past 10 years and features photos from celebrities including Dame Judi Dench, Sean Bean and Gaynor Faye. All proceeds from the book will go to York Against Cancer.

It’s the easiest good deed you’ll do all year.” David Charles said: “Having gone through my own battles with cancer, I know firsthand the challenges and emotional toll it can take, not just on the individual, but on their families as well, I was inspired to create a unique photobook to raise funds and awareness for York Against Cancer after learning how they do so much for the Yorkshire community.” A launch event for the book will be taking place on 28th September, 6pm-8pm, at York Against Cancer’s cancer support centre, The Leveson Centre. Due to incredible demand, tickets for the event have now sold out.
