Azets UK invest in next generation in Yorkshire

UK top 10 accountancy firm Azets has welcomed 23 new graduates and school leavers at its offices in Yorkshire. 

It has recruited the next generation of accountants and business advisors across multiple service lines in Leeds, Bradford and York.

Within the new intake, 13 of the new apprentices are in audit, six are in Accounts and Business Advisory (ABAS), two are in tax and two are in technical accounting.

Eleven of the new starters are in Leeds, 10 are in York and two are in Bradford.

Investment in new talent is a key strategy for Azets as it continues to grow, deepen its expertise and expand its high-quality services.

The school leaver route at Azets UK is a six-year programme which includes two apprenticeship programmes leading to the student gaining their Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification and then moving onto their chartered accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CTA or ICAS).

The graduate route is a three or four-year programme where students study toward their chartered accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CTA or ICAS).

Azets has three offices in Yorkshire – in King Street in Leeds, at Triune Court in Monks Cross Drive in York and in Grammar School Street in Bradford – where it employs 335 people providing tailored accountancy, tax and advisory services to help businesses and individuals thrive.
