Compass Community – Partnership Opportunities

Who are we?

Compass is a national charity delivering NHS and local authority commissioned mental health and wellbeing services for children, young people and families across England.

With over 40 years of experience, our services support around 100,000 children and young people each year and work alongside 3,000+ schools, colleges and community settings to improve mental health, wellbeing and resilience.

Alongside our commissioned services, Compass Community works with businesses, organisations and community partners to create meaningful social value that improves outcomes for local people and communities.

What is Social Value?

At Compass, we believe social value is created when organisations use their skills, expertise, resources and influence to make a lasting difference to the communities they serve.

It is not simply about charitable donations. Social value can include:

  • Sharing professional expertise and skills
  • Training, mentoring and coaching
  • Employee volunteering
  • Providing resources or equipment
  • Creating opportunities for children, young people and communities
  • Supporting health, wellbeing and inclusion initiatives
  • Developing partnerships that create sustainable community impact

A recent example is our partnership with Orange Fox Studios.

Orange Fox Studios produced a pro-bono animated version of our Pesky Parrot mental health resource.
This helped us reach thousands more children in an engaging, accessible format, creating lasting social
impact while supporting training for their new staff member.

What can a partnership with Compass offer?

By supporting our work, organisations can help improve outcomes for children, young people and families while delivering meaningful social value within the communities where they operate.

Partnership opportunities may include:

  • Supporting local mental health and wellbeing projects
  • Sharing skills and expertise with young people and communities
  • Resources or in-kind support
  • Joint awareness campaigns and community initiatives
  • Access to free workplace mental health and wellbeing training delivered by accredited Compass
    professionals
  • Opportunities to showcase positive community impact through partnership case studies

If your organisation has skills, expertise, resources, ideas or time to offer, we’d love to explore how we can work together to create positive change for children, young people and local communities.
