A year of triumphs and milestones for First Intuition
2023 has proven to be a pivotal year for First Intuition, marked by significant growth, notable achievements, and a continued commitment to excellence. FI proudly welcomed over 230 new apprentices into our thriving centres across Leeds and Sheffield taking us to nearly 600 live learners. Our team also saw impressive growth, welcoming 13 new members of staff, helping to better support our clients and learners.
Our proudest moment of the year is undoubtedly passing our very first Ofsted inspection in June, with flying colours. The entire team pulled together to showcase what we do best as a training provider and this was rewarded with a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating. This accomplishment stands as a testament to our commitment to delivering high-quality education & training and we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped to make this possible.
This year we also saw the launch of our successful round table events. Designed to discuss common issues local businesses currently face, our round table lunches are increasing in popularity. FI has recently hosted our 3rd round table of the year in Sheffield, with clients across South Yorkshire ranging from the Forge Masters to local Accountancy Practices. This time, attendees focussed on the future and impact of AI in Finance. These events continue to be successful at bringing together local businesses and providing a platform to discuss crucial matters within the world of accounting and finance.
May brought a special highlight for Team FI as we had the honour of hosting an inspiring evening with Kevin Sinfield OBE. The event, in collaboration with Leeds Beckett University and Collaborative Professionals Network, invited past & present clients and learners to hear Kevin talk about his incredible experiences. Kevin captivated the room into silence with his stories from throughout his career, the ups and downs he has faced, and the motivation behind his work. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped us raise £1,050 for MNDA.
