Celebrating Bradford event brings local businesses together to highlight city’s economic development
Celebrating Bradford will take place on Wednesday (18th October) at The Madisson bringing together the great and good of West Yorkshire to celebrate the remarkable progress made in the business landscape of Bradford.
Named as the City of Culture for 2025, Celebrating Bradford will welcome key business figures, civic dignitaries, senior council officers, Members of Parliament and the West Yorkshire Combined Authority to share ideas and hear more about the key economic development initiatives that are underway and the exciting future prospects for the district.
The evening promises engaging discussions, enlightening presentations, and valuable networking opportunities, all set against the backdrop of The Madisson’s grandeur.
The event has been sponsored by Five Star Homebuilder, Barratt Homes Yorkshire West and Bradford based housing provider Incommunities, and is backed by Bradford Property and Economic Forum.

Barratt Homes Yorkshire West is building a collection of energy-efficient two, three and four bedroom homes at its developments across Bradford including Saxon Dene in Silsden, The Bridleways in Eccleshill, Westminster View in Clayton and Wadsworth Gardens in Cleckheaton. Homes in Bradford are available to purchase from £162,497 with deposit contributions of up to £26,000 also available that can go towards mortgage payments, deposits, or free upgrades.
Over the next five years, Incommunities is investing £120million in the existing homes they provide. In addition to delivering high quality new build homes, encompassing Affordable Rent, Social Rent, Rent to Buy, and Shared Ownership.
The housing provider is currently on site at Valley View, a development of 42 new affordable homes on Valley Road in Shipley. Millgrove, a development of 107 affordable homes off Manchester Road, is due for completion this year and Crossley Wood in Bingley, will deliver 93 new affordable home, scheduled for completion in early 2024.
