Enrolment Hotline opens at Kirklees College for 2026/2027 academic year

For over 200 years, Kirklees College has been at the forefront of vocational and technical education, and it’s time for new students to join this historic institution.

This morning, Kirklees College officially opened its Enrolment Hotline call centre, taking queries from the public who want to join a course starting in September. The hotline number is 01484 437100 and is open Monday to Friday, 9am – 4pm until the end of September.

With GCSE results day fast approaching on Thursday 20 August, school leavers who have yet to decide their next steps can also still enrol at Kirklees College.

If a young person who has applied to Kirklees College receives their results and they are lower or higher than expected, they can call the Enrolment Hotline to book a face-to-face appointment to discuss their options.

With seven centres located in Huddersfield and Dewsbury, there are still places available on a range of courses starting this September.

The college offers courses in a range of subject areas, including Animal Care, Construction, Business, Health and Social Care, Engineering, Creative Industries and much more. As a uniquely vocational college, Kirklees College prides itself in offering its students a hands-on learning experience focused around practical skills development and work experience.

What about courses for adults?

For those waiting for A Level, T Level or Level 3 results this week and looking to join a Higher Education course in Animal Care, Business or Engineering, Kirklees College can help students reach their career goals at a vastly reduced cost to more traditional university study.

The college also prides itself on its Access to Higher Education offer. Access to HE courses are available in Business, Health Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, Law and Computing and are designed to help adults lacking the qualifications to go to university to gain the relevant knowledge, skills and all-important UCAS points to apply.

The college also recently launched its Adult Course Guide for courses starting this Autumn term. The offer includes community courses, professional qualifications for upskilling in the workplace, and a range of entry-level qualifications to help adults kick-start a new career.
