Football Fanzone unveils big screen for England fans to watch World Cup action
Super-sized screens are being installed, the drinks are being chilled and street food is being prepared as Trinity Kitchen is set to host its own Football Fanzone showing the World Cup games this week – kicking off with England vs. Croatia on Wednesday, 17th June.
The Trinity Leeds foodie favourite is transforming into an evening fan zone with three super-sized 5m x 3m screens, the ‘Northern Monk Trinity Tap’ bar with 20 beer taps from Leeds independent brewery Northern Monk, as well as 11 street food vendors, DJs including Greg Dwyer, brass bands, and space for up to 1,000 supporters.
Free to attend, fans will have the option of booking tables for England’s games making it the perfect base for a friendly matchday atmosphere.
Street food vendors will be serving matchday meals and snacks, including Trinity Kitchen favourites Archie’s, Pho, Pizzaluxe, Rola Wala, Thatziki and new Caribbean street food offering Jerk Junction.
Josie Towning, Food and Beverage Manager at Trinity Leeds, said: “The excitement is building in the run-up to England’s first game and we’re so pleased to give people the chance to watch the action from Trinity Kitchen for the first time – complete with live roaming brass bands and DJs.”
For guaranteed seats at the England games, booking is advised. Entry is free, or pre-booked guaranteed seats are priced at £10.
