Inspectas announces “total compliance” offering with expansion into water risk management

Yorkshire’s specialist property compliance consultancy Inspectas has announced the expansion of its portfolio to include water risk management.

The new service completes its transition to a fully integrated “total compliance” provider and strengthens its compliance offering, which already includes asbestos management, fire safety, health and safety, and Construction Design and Management (CDM) services.

Water risk management is a key component of property compliance, helping organisations meet their legal duties under health and safety legislation while protecting building users from risks such as Legionella.

Registered with the Legionella Control Association, Inspectas offers Legionella risk assessments, Legionella awareness training, water management planning, sampling and monitoring programmes and ongoing compliance support.

Inspectas Water Management Consultant Lead Simon Frost who joins the team alongside Water Risk Surveyor Rob Walker, said: “Every building has water – the question is whether that water supply is being maintained and managed. Man made water systems can be a source of Legionnaires disease outbreaks so we offer a range of services from hot and cold water monitoring through to planned, preventative maintenance.”
