Institute for Equity announces first annual Yorkshire Inclusion Luncheon incorporating the National Inclusion Awards ©
The Institute for Equity, University Centre has officially announced its landmark event, The Yorkshire Inclusion Luncheon, scheduled for 15 October 2026 at the Cedar Court Hotel, Huddersfield.
This first-of-its-kind, high-end gathering, is designed to bring together Yorkshire’s most forward-thinking minds, including high-profile individuals, corporate decision-makers, and community leaders, to participate in high-level discussions on organisational leadership and inclusion.
Event Overview & Objectives
The luncheon serves as a dynamic, collaborative space focused on creating fair, diverse, and genuinely inclusive spaces across Yorkshire’s organisational and social landscapes. Taking place in the middle of Black History Month, the event will highlight local excellence while addressing all intersections of inclusion.
A major highlight of the luncheon will be the official recognition of awardees via the National Inclusion Awards ©, spotlighting exceptional individuals and organisations driving transformative change across the region and beyond in social justice, equity & inclusion.
The event aims to achieve three core outcomes:
