Preparing for the future: Woodhouse Grove School host a mock interview event for students interested in medical degrees
On Saturday, 16th November, Year 12 and Year 13 students from Woodhouse Grove School, along with peers from neighbouring state schools, Benton Park and Immanuel College, participated in a mock MMI (Multiple Mini Interviews) event held in Woodhouse Grove’s new Sixth Form Building.
The event aimed to prepare students for university interviews in medicine, dentistry, and veterinary science. The MMI sessions were facilitated by parents of Woodhouse Grove students who are professionals in medicine and veterinary science. Students took part in a series of mini-interviews and assessments designed to challenge and refine their skills.
This invaluable opportunity was well-received, with students fully engaging and rising to the challenges presented. The school extends it’s heartfelt thanks to the Grovian parents who generously dedicated their Saturday morning to support this initiative, helping students take meaningful steps towards their future aspirations.
