West Yorkshire housebuilder calls for applications for community fund scheme
Local housebuilder Barratt and David Wilson Homes Yorkshire West is encouraging charities to get in contact and apply for its Community Fund scheme which is worth £1,500.
The Community Fund scheme sees the developer support a different charity every month with a donation of up to £1,500 to aid the incredible work being done at a local level by charities with a variety of different causes. Registered charities are invited to email their applications by Friday 16th August for consideration for October, November and December’s donations.
The five star homebuilder has supported a number of local charities across Yorkshire, including East Ardsley Primary Academy who used its donation to fund the installation of a wildlife pond and safety fencing to help the children embrace outdoor education.
The Barratt Foundation has been established to support local and national charities across the UK, as the homebuilder looks to contribute to the communities in which it builds. The Barratt Foundation aims to promote social inclusion to support people of all ages, religions, race, financial positions, and backgrounds to integrate with and benefit from society.
Gavin Birch, Managing Director at Barratt and David Wilson Homes Yorkshire West, said: “We are delighted to once again be opening nominations for our monthly Community Fund donations.
“The initiative is dedicated to supporting as many registered charities across the areas in which we operate. We thoroughly look forward to welcoming nominations and building relationships with incredible charities from across the region.”
Registered charities that would like to apply should email applications to lisa.williams@barratthomes.co.uk by Friday 16th August.
