I am the DWP Employer lead across North East England and Yorkshire. I collaborate with employers and providers to place our customers into jobs. I have a senior leader role within DWP and would like to work with Chambers to support employers to fill their vacancies and help support growth sectors. The recruitment service we provide is at no additional cost to employers, our aim is to support our customers into work so we are able to collaborate with training providers to support employers with vacancies. Although I work with the chambers I have a network of 40 jobcentres across the group supporting and delivering the recruitment service. I also have colleagues across the country performing a similar role so can signpost employers to my colleague if outside North Yorkshire.
