The Youth Work Unit (YWU) are the focal point for the youth work sector in the region, having a unique role in bringing together the dual functions of support and development. Working with youth work providers and young people to broaden high quality opportunities and enable voice and influence to be maximised. Our youth voice social action groups are unique as being a regionally representative body led by young people speaking out and working to ensure young people’s views are heard and are taken seriously in matters which affect them.
