Bradford SME’s offered free leadership training worth £750

The University of Bradford is delivering the Help to Grow: Management Course, a 12-week programme offering 50 hours of leadership training, one-to-one mentoring, and a tailored growth action plan.

The course is 90 per cent funded by the UK government, with the university providing additional support for the remaining £750 contribution.

A university spokesperson said: “This additional support is being provided in recognition of the challenges SMEs are currently facing and to make the programme as accessible as possible to businesses across the region.”

For businesses with five to nine employees, the university will fully subsidise the £750 contribution, making the course completely free for one participant.

Those with 10 to 249 employees can enrol a second participant at no extra cost, receiving two places for £750 instead of the usual £1,500.

The next cohort begins on October 26.

The University of Bradford is encouraging SME leaders to take advantage of the “expert guidance, structured learning, and peer-to-peer support” offered through the programme.

More than 14,000 business leaders have already enrolled in the programme, with nearly 12,000 alumni now benefiting from ongoing professional development opportunities.
