Come for a fun and fulfilling team volunteering day at The Children’s Book Project

The Children’s Book Project, based on Water Lane in Leeds, is on a mission to end book poverty.  Nearly 1 million children in the UK don’t own a book of their own.  The Children’s Book Project take donations of pre-loved books and gift them to children through primary schools, food banks, women’s refuges and to children with a parent in prison.

All of the book sorting is 100% volunteer powered by groups of corporate volunteers who give us amazing feedback about the experience they have as a team.  This year we gifted over 500,000 books across the UK and we are planning to gift more books to children in Leeds than ever before next academic year.

We would love to talk to companies who can support us with their helpful hands and who want to make a difference to local children with our sustainable solution to this problem.
