Councillor Bob Webb, City of York Council’s Executive Member for Children, Young People and Education, said: “We are ambitious about supporting all young people in the city to develop their skills and secure the right opportunities for them. We know that deciding on your next step after school can be tricky, particularly for young people with SEND and their families, but the annual Opportunities Event is a fantastic way to find out more about the wealth of work, education and training opportunities available in the local area.”
