Unleash your inner dragon in the Forget Me Not Dragon Boat Race!

Perfect for workmates, friends or family, gather your crew together for our exciting event! In this fun and highly competitive challenge, your team of up to 16 paddlers (and a drummer to keep the rhythm) will take part in at least three 200m races in dragon-decorated boats, cheered on by spectators!

The fastest crews go through to the semis and finals, with medals for the top three.

Those watching from the shore will have plenty to entertain them too, with an onsite café, Forget Me Not pop up shop, tombola and raffle, plenty of stalls and you’re welcome to bring your own team gazebo. So why not make a proper day of it?

All of the money raised from the day will go to Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice in Huddersfield. We provide outstanding nursing care, hydrotherapy, creative therapy, days out, memory-making, end-of-life care, bereavement support and counselling to families facing or living with the loss of their child, by helping them to make the most of every moment together.

This year, we must make over 80% of the money we need to run our children’s hospice. Meaning it’s only with your help that we can continue to be here, providing vital and pioneering care and support to children and families across West Yorkshire.
