Volunteer at Trek26
Alzheimer’s Society is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help support at their Trek26 events. Trek26 is Alzheimer’s Society bespoke trekking event. With 13 locations across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, we’re bringing together thousands of trekkers in support of raising awareness and funds for people affected by dementia. It will take a society to beat dementia. Will you join us?
Across Yorkshire we have two events for 2026.
Trek26 Yorkshire Dales – Saturday 16th May (Malham)
Trek26 North York Moors – Saturday 25th July (Whitby)
Trekking a marathon or half-marathon is no mean feat so we need volunteers just like you, to help give our trekkers as much support as possible on the day. This could be a cup of tea at one of our rest stops, a friendly word of encouragement on the route, or a triumphant cheer across the finish line.
As part of our volunteer crew, you’ll help give trekkers the encouragement and the all-important boost they need to keep going strong. We can guarantee that it means the world to our trekkers.
No experience needed, just bring your energy and enthusiasm! There is something for everyone, with roles based in the event hub and rest stops.
