York Cares Big Community Challenge

As part of our upcoming Big Community Challenge, we are offering the below slots as taster opportunities for organisations wanting to find out more about York Cares and to gain experience first hand of the benefits of employee-volunteering opportunities with us.

• Thursday 19 September, 1.30pm – 4.30pm – Askham Bar Nature Area (10 volunteers)
• Monday 23 September, 9.30am – 12.30pm – City Walls Postern Gate (10 volunteers)
• Tuesday 1 October, 9.30am – 12.30pm – Foss Park Wildlife Area (10 volunteers)
• Friday 4 October, 1.30pm – 4.30pm – Lord Mayor’s Walk City Walls (20 volunteers)
• Tuesday 8 October, 9.30am  – 12.30pm and 1.30pm – 4.30pm – Station Road City Walls (15 volunteers per session)
• Tuesday 8 October, 1.30pm – 4.30pm – Clifton Bridge Tree Copses (20 volunteers)
• Wednesday 9 October, 9.30am  – 12.30pm and 1.30pm – 4.30pm – Rawcliffe Meadow (15 volunteers per session)
• Thursday 10 October, 9.30am – 12.30pm – Water End Wet Meadow (40 volunteers)
• Thursday 10 October, 1.30pm – 4.30pm – Acomb Green Spaces (10 volunteers)
