Bradford BID launches two new creative city centre events to celebrate culture and community
Bradford Business Improvement District (BID) is launching two exciting events designed to inspire creativity, bring people together, and showcase the city centre in a fresh and engaging way.
The first event, a Family Photo Walk, will take place on Thursday 1 August, starting from Waterstones at 11am. Participants will follow a guided route through the city, aiming to capture 15 beautiful and iconic sights in the city centre. The event is free to take part, open to all ages, and only requires a smartphone or camera.
Led by local professional photographers, the walk encourages residents and visitors alike to see the city from a new perspective. A photo checklist will also be available to collect from Waterstones throughout August for those unable to attend on the day. Participants are encouraged to share their photos online for a chance to win a £100 city centre gift card.
The second event is a fun and creative Paint & Sip evening at Wallers Brewery, Sunbridgewells, taking place on Friday 12 September, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. This is a ticketed event offering a fun, relaxed night out—perfect for unwinding with friends or trying something new. Attendees will enjoy a complimentary drink on arrival and be guided by a professional artist to create their own canvas masterpiece. No experience is needed!
“These events are about giving people a new way to experience Bradford—whether that’s seeing the centre through a new lens or spending a fun evening enjoying the city’s night time offer.” said Nikki Chadburn, Bradford BID’s Business Communications Manager.
Tickets for Paint & Sip can be booked online at: www.bradfordbid.co.uk/post/paint-sip
No booking is required for the Family Photo Walk.
Both events form part of Bradford BID’s ongoing efforts to support cultural engagement and enhance the city centre experience during this exciting City of Culture year.
