South Leeds Garden Centre celebrates summer with play activities
The team at a South Leeds adventure play centre has announced its summer play sessions.
In addition to the High Ropes, the Tower Jump Pillow, golf and assault courses, visitors to Mission Out at Tingley Garden Centre will have access to additional free activities including super archery, axe throwing and hook a duck throughout the summer holidays.
The activities have been organised by Gemma Constantine, Mission Out Manager. She said: “Mission Out is a great place to spend the long days of the summer holidays. There’s always something challenging, exciting and awesome to do, it’s suitable for all ages, and accessible to all with options for two hour play passes and our discounted family passes.
“Mission Out encourages children to ditch their devices and have outdoor fun with family and friends. It’s good, wholesome play that’s great for tiring out active youngsters!”
In addition to the activities at Mission Out, there’s also plenty for younger children to do in Grass Hoppers adventure play, located inside Tingley Garden Centre. In addition to soft play and the outdoor playground, there’s a series of free events, including a Royal Princess visit on 7th August, disco parties from 4th to 8th August, hook a duck from 18th to 22nd August, crafts week from 25th to 29th August, wild animals on 28th August and weekday visits from Grass Hoppers’ mascot, Hopper throughout the holidays.
Tingley Garden Centre is part of the Yorkshire Garden Centres family that comprises Tong, Tingley, Otley, Bingley and Shelley Garden Centres plus Dean’s York and Scarborough.
