Yorkshire Garden Centres’ play areas celebrate their tenth birthday with giveaways

The teams at two West Yorkshire indoor and outdoor adventure play areas are marking their 10th birthday with a series of giveaways.

Everyone who visits Grass Hoppers play area at Tong and Tingley Garden Centres between now and 1st September will be entered into a prize draw to win prizes from slushies to pizzas and free play sessions.

Nicky Twigg, manager at Grass Hoppers at Tong, said: “We want to celebrate 10 fabulous years of proper playtime by giving something back to the people who have made memories at Grass Hoppers indoor soft play and outdoor adventure play over the last decade.

“In this time, over a million people have enjoyed hundreds of activities, including our interactive play areas, waterplay, bouncing pillows and sports court.

“Visitors to both sites will automatically be entered into our weekly draws, and winners will be contacted by email with a voucher for their free treat. We look forward to celebrating with you. We have even brought back two of our original models for the photo shoot, one of whom now works at Grass Hoppers as a party coordinator!”

In addition to the birthday celebrations, there will be a series of free events at Grass Hoppers at Tong, including wild animals on 12th August, crafts week from 11th to 15th August, a Superhero visit on 20th August, disco parties from 25th to 29th August, and weekday visits from Grass Hoppers’ mascot, Hopper, throughout the holidays.
