A new store, more stations, and a chance to win free haircuts for a year!
Popular Leeds-based barbershop, Ambassador Barbers, celebrates a major milestone in its journey at the Merrion Centre with the opening of a brand-new, larger store to meet growing demand.
Originally opening its doors in September 2019, Ambassador Barbers has gone from strength to strength and has now expanded into a new, more prominent unit within the Merrion Centre – complete with seven state-of-the-art barber stations.
Specialising in all aspects of traditional barbering and modern male hairdressing services, Ambassador Barbers offers everything from classic haircuts to hot towel shaves and beard sculpts. Customers can also enjoy their own specially formulated grooming products, including clays, creams, beard oils and colognes – all of which are sulphate-free and cruelty-free.
To celebrate the launch of the new store, Ambassador Barbers is offering one lucky customer the chance to win free haircuts for a year. Anyone booking an appointment between 20th October and 30th November will be automatically entered into the draw, with the winner enjoying 12 months of stylish trims on the house. In addition, LUFC Season Ticket Holders and students will receive a 20% discount on all services as part of the store’s commitment to rewarding the local community.

Founder Joshua Waite, who boasts over 14 years of industry experience, is well-known in the barbering scene. Formerly a manager at Barber Barber in Leeds, Joshua has taught, hosted, and organised numerous barbering events and counts sports stars, musicians, and other high-profile names among his clientele.
The new store is located inside the Merrion Centre, by the Woodhouse Lane entrance and directly opposite Town Centre House reception, making it a perfect stop for office workers, students, and visitors. The highly visible location features an extensive, contemporary fit-out, complete with Joshua’s personal touches – from Leeds United memorabilia to unique music-inspired art and artefacts.
