Season’s eatings: Trinity Kitchen welcomes a new street food lineup this festive season

Trinity Kitchen has welcomed a host of new street-food vendors, ready to tantalise tastebuds in the run up to Christmas. From Mac & Cheese and loaded Chicken Nuggets and Tater Tots to succulent burgers and slow-cooked spicy Birria tacos, guests are in for a truly indulgent treat.

Christmas favourite Nelly’s Barn is back alongside the much-loved Big Mouth Gyoza and Niko’s Comfort Kitchen. Guests can also tuck into a comforting bowl of Mac & Cheese from Return of the Mac and enjoy some tasty tacos from the Birria Bandits.

Bringing its taste of West Country street food, Nelly’s Barn is slinging its famous 28-day, dry-aged and locally sourced beef burgers, with double-tasty cheddar. With plenty of veggie/vegan options in the mix as well, such as the Almighty Vegan Burger, which features roasted red peppers on a bed of a soya Pattie and fresh salad, Nelly’s Barn is the perfect stop any day of the week.

Big Mouth Gyoza is serving up handmade Japanese gyozas that are as delightful as they are delicious. Each dumpling is packed with either melt-in-your-mouth pork belly or flavourful mushrooms, all dribbled with their signature secret sauce. Guests can also take the experience home with convenient takeaway bags and pouches of their special secret sauce to recreate the magic in their own kitchen.

Back by popular demand, Niko’s Comfort Kitchen has brought its bundle of warm chicken nuggets and tasty tater tots. With a range of delicious flavours to choose from such as garlic butter, katsu, chipotle buffalo, as well as the original, guests will be spoilt for choice.

It’s also a Return of the Mac – a Leeds-based collaboration by Luigi Street Food and Spuds ‘n’ Bros. Dishing out their indulgent and ultra-cheesy loaded Mac & Cheese bowls directly from the Horsebox, the seasonal feast starts here.

And finally, Birria Bandits share their award-winning tacos served on soft white corn tortillas with a choice of slow braised beef brisket, juicy chicken and smoked cauliflower. Lil Bandits can also enjoy mini quesadillas, nachos and tacos. A must have meal for all the family.

Kim Sutton, Retail Manager at Trinity Leeds, said: “Trinity Kitchen is the perfect place to pause, relax, and enjoy a delicious treat with family and friends amid the bustle of Christmas shopping.
