All aboard for festive feasting as TPE unwraps its new seasonal menu

TransPennine Express (TPE) is spreading festive cheer on board this winter with the launch of its new seasonal dishes.
The new offering with be available from Monday 1 December to Sunday 4 January across its First Class menus: TransPennine Kitchen- West Coast and Coast to Coast.

The seasonal offering introduces a selection of locally sourced treats and vegan-friendly options for customers looking to travel in style this holiday season.

Across both First Class menus, customers can enjoy two new festive favourites: turkey meatballs and a nutless roast – the perfect way to get journeys off to a merry start.

The West Coast menu – available on services connecting Manchester and Liverpool with Glasgow and Edinburgh – also features a duo of festive mini pies handcrafted by Pie Demand based at Carlisle station, along with a festive West Coast cheeseboard showcasing Blue Murder, smoked Lammermuir and Wensleydale with cranberries.

Meanwhile, the Coast to Coast menu – served between Liverpool and Newcastle – includes The Original Baker’s festive roll and a festive Coast to Coast cheeseboard featuring Harrogate Blue, Northumberland oak smoked and Yorkshire Wensleydale with cranberries.

To make journeys even sweeter, First Class customers will also enjoy complimentary mince pies from The Original Baker, as well as mini candy canes throughout the festive season – a small treat to help keep spirits bright on board.
