York based construction company, William Birch & Sons celebrates the start of Women in Construction Week with Commercial Manager Appointment
William Birch & Sons Ltd, a long-established York-based contractor with over 150 years of heritage, has announced the appointment of Vicky Moss as Commercial Manager, effective 2nd March.
The appointment strengthens the company’s strategic focus on commercial performance, disciplined growth and long-term sustainability. Announced during Women in Construction Week, it also reflects the increasing presence of women in senior roles across the industry.
Vicky previously worked within the business as Supervising QS and returns following a period of wider industry experience, where she further developed her expertise in commercial strategy, contractual leadership and financial governance. Her return demonstrates both the strength of the company’s culture and its commitment to developing and retaining high-calibre talent.
