Adcrete strengthens service delivery with major investment backed by Oscrete
Concrete admixture specialist Adcrete, the official sister company of Oscrete Construction Products in Northern Ireland and Ireland, is marking its 10th anniversary with a significant investment designed to further enhance service, availability and technical support for customers.
The Lisburn-based business has completed a major refurbishment of its warehousing and logistics facility, thanks to investment from parent company Christeyns. Adcrete is also entering a new, dual brand era, bringing stronger visibility of its position within the Oscrete group.
The recent investment work has doubled storage capacity and introduced a customer consultation space within new, on-site office facilities at the Adcrete Lisburn HQ. The investment allows Adcrete to hold increased stock levels, improving stock rotation, sharpen logistics and ensure consistent availability of core products for customers in the precast, ready-mix and mortar markets.
The upgrade strengthens Adcrete’s ability to deliver the high levels of service its customers expect, supported by the technical expertise and resources of Oscrete, which brings more than 43 years of construction industry experience to the business.
Adcrete Director Jonathan Mooney said: “We’ve been based in Lisburn since launching in 2016 and we’re recognised as one of the leading admixture suppliers in Ireland. Since 2018, we have focused on strengthening our service delivery to customers and on building a robust customer network which is serviced by our national logistics partner, MJ Hogg Transport.”
“The latest investment in our warehousing and logistics capabilities is about giving customers further confidence in our capacity, responsiveness and in the reliability of our service. When combined with Oscrete’s extensive range of admixture and additives solutions and its four decades of product development expertise, it completes our unparalleled, solutions-led service.”
Oscrete is one of the UK’s leading specialist construction chemical manufacturers, supplying high-performance admixtures for precast and ready-mix concrete, alongside the ready-to-use mortar sector. Since appointing Adcrete 2018, turnover in Ireland has increased by more than 200%.
Founded in 1983, Oscrete developed its reputation through performance-driven admixture technology. Recent strategic acquisitions have further enhanced its offering, including the 2025 acquisition of structural waterproofing specialist PUDLO, bringing more than 150 years of combined expertise into the group, and the integration of Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC) specialist Cemcotec.
Adcrete Director Gus Vaughan added: “For Adcrete customers, the availability of Oscrete’s resources deliver real, practical benefits. Their industry-leading laboratory allows admixtures to be evaluated using customers’ own materials, supporting tailored solutions and performance optimisation, something we take very seriously as customers look to improve consistency and reduce cement and water content, lowering their carbon footprint.
“Innovation is paramount in today’s construction industry and Oscrete’s investment in our site, technical facilities and supply chain resilience allow us to work even closer with our customers, solving challenges and responding quickly to changing needs.”
