North Yorkshire family uses part exchange scheme to buy dream home
Nunthorpe locals have recently settled into their new home at David Wilson Homes’ Grey Towers Village development.
Tom and Claire Laverick, along with their daughters Ella, Edie and 15 year old dog Peggy, have recently moved to a new energy-efficient home at Grey Towers Village. The family utilised the developers Part Exchange scheme to make the moving process easy.
Tom Laverick said: “Our previous home was only a mile away from the development but we wanted to move to a property which had more storage, a larger garden and would be closer to a school bus route for our eldest daughter. We’d had positive experiences visiting and attending community events at the development before.
“We purchased a Henley home, and we were mainly attracted to this house type due to the storage space and the large garden plot. I was also very happy to discover that the solar panels were included as standard.
“We moved into our home in late June, during the heatwave, and have started the long-term project of putting the personal touches to our new home.
The family utilised David Wilson Homes’ Part Exchange scheme to purchase their new home. The scheme gives homeowners a guaranteed buyer for an existing property, eliminating any estate agent feed and avoiding the hassle of being in a property chain.
Reflecting on the buying process, Tom said: “Overall, the experience has been positive, with Abby, Leanne and Dan being very supportive during the completion process and giving consistent updates.
