St Georges Crypt a Christmas present

St George’s Crypt launches Christmas 2026 Gift appeal for people facing homelessness in Leeds

St George’s Crypt has launched its Christmas Gift appeal, inviting businesses, organisations and individuals across the city to donate presents and essential items for people accessing its services over the festive season.

The appeal aims to ensure that everyone supported by the charity receives a Christmas present, bringing comfort, dignity and a little extra joy to people who might otherwise go without.

Founded in Leeds in 1930, St George’s Crypt works with people who are homeless, vulnerable or living with addiction. From its city-centre base, the charity provides award-winning 24/7 emergency accommodation, plus food, showers, clothing, and access to specialist health and wellbeing support.
