The University’s BSc (Hons) Archaeology programme has been accredited for a further five years, while BSc (Hons) Forensic Anthropology has been awarded a new accreditation for the next five years by the CIfA and UAUK.

The accreditations show the programmes meet professional standards and prepare graduates for careers in the field.

What the assessors said

Bradford’s archaeology programmes were praised by assessors for its ‘wealth of technical resources and high-quality research and teaching collections’.

The University’s archaeology placement year was praised for being a long-standing and distinctive part of its programmes, offering students ‘valuable work-based learning’.

The two accredited degree courses offer students access to impressive practical experience in the field, lab and workplace.
