2025 BCF Awards winners on stage at the ceremony in Chester

Belzona wins Excellence in Training Award

Belzona, a Harrogate-based global leader in repair composites and protective coatings, has been named the winner of the Excellence in Training Award at the 2025 British Coatings Federation (BCF) Awards.

The BCF, the trade association representing decorative paints, industrial coatings, powder coatings, printing inks and wallcovering manufacturers in the UK, announced the winners during its annual awards ceremony held this year at Carden Park in Chester. The event brought together more than 180 coatings industry professionals to celebrate outstanding achievements across the sector.

Belzona’s win recognises the company’s Initial Training Seminar (ITS), a comprehensive programme designed to equip new employees within Belzona’s global Distributor Network with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to succeed. The seminar also provides a valuable opportunity for attendees to connect with colleagues at a similar stage in their careers.

Natalie Carpenter, Events and Office Manager at Belzona, commented:

“We are constantly working to improve the Initial Training Seminar and make it more interactive, hands-on and engaging for our attendees. It is amazing to see the hard work of everyone involved in delivering such a valuable learning experience recognised through this award.”
