Blacks Solicitors leads on sale of Yorkshire Raw Feeds to The Nutriment Company
Leading Yorkshire law firm Blacks Solicitors LLP has advised the shareholders of Yorkshire Raw Feeds in the sale to The Nutriment Company (TNC), one of Europe’s fastest-growing natural pet food groups.
Completing on 17th June, Rebecca Holden, Partner and Head of Corporate, assisted by Trainee, Leon Cordero advised on all aspects of the transaction. Specialists from the firm’s Commercial, IP, Data Protection, Employment, Real Estate and Regulatory teams also supported the deal.
The transaction sees Leeds-based Yorkshire Raw Feeds join the Swedish-headquartered business, which is backed by Nordic private equity firm Axcel.
Led by James Glover and James McVeigh, who have more than 30 years’ experience in the sector, Yorkshire Raw Feeds has built a strong reputation across Yorkshire and the North of England. James Glover will continue in his role as Managing Director, helping to drive the next phase of the company’s development as demand for raw pet food witnesses sustained growth.
