Bradford Bulls and Bradford College renew partnership

Bradford College and Bradford Bulls Rugby League Club have signed a brand new educational partnership agreement for 2024.

The agreement will provide students and staff with stadium tours, hospitality and discounted tickets, together with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience, amongst a whole host of exciting opportunities to work together.

Both organisations have also committed to delivering a Bradford primary and secondary school challenge cup in summer 2024. The Bulls Foundation Community Outreach team will once again be powered by Bradford College – sharing course information, supporting community visits, and providing advice and guidance training to the Outreach Team. Bradford Bulls are also the official partner for our Level 3 Diploma in Sport and Physical Activity Course, which is part of our Ambition Hub programme offer, where learners attend weekly placements assisting with coaching various sports and physical activity in local schools and other community initiatives.

The Bulls are also supporting the Bradford College busy events calendar with special guest appearances and speaker engagements to share industry insight on topics like sports coaching, strength and conditioning, and sports event management.

Christopher Malish, Vice Principal at Bradford College, said: “I’m delighted to be signing with the Bulls again. Both organisations are committed to transforming the lives of young people in Bradford so we have a common goal. The College has worked with Bradford Bulls for many years. This latest deal solidifies our close ties as organisations that are passionate about serving Bradford and beyond.”

Bradford Bulls CEO, Jason Hirst, said: “The Bradford Bulls are delighted to be able to extend our partnership with our friends at Bradford College. This is, undoubtedly, not only great news for both organisations, but equally the wider Bradford community, as both the college and the Bulls are committed to providing life changing opportunities for all students.”

Chris Chamberlain, Bradford Bulls Foundation CEO, added: “This is a fantastic partnership between the ‘Bulls’ and Bradford College, of which the Bulls Foundation is extremely pleased to support. This partnership will have a positive impact on the community of Bradford using rugby league as vehicle to engage.”

This season, the Bradford College logo will appear pitch side, on mascot shirts, co-branded community t-shirts, the Bulls women’s team kit, and Scholarship and Academy shirts.

Bradford College has a long and successful relationship with Bradford Bulls. Textiles students at Bradford College restored the much-loved Bullboy mascot after years of disrepair and designed and manufactured the Bull Girl costume.
