Grand opening launch event of Volcano Falls Adventure Golf White Rose Shopping Centre, Leeds
Volcano Falls Adventure Golf, the latest immersive entertainment destination from Funstation, has officially opened at White Rose Shopping Centre in Leeds. Building on more than 20 years of creating memorable leisure experiences across the UK, the new venue combines adventure golf, electric darts and a licensed bar under one roof.
The opening marks the 16th venue within the Funstation Group, joining the long-established Volcano Falls at Xscape Yorkshire in Castleford and the recently opened Funstation at The Light Leeds.
The Grand Opening launch event welcomed more than 120 guests from across the local community, including businesses, influencers, media, partners and representatives from White Rose Shopping Centre, for an evening of celebration and entertainment. The evening began with an official ribbon-cutting led by former Leeds professional footballer Andy Couzens, with guests welcomed by Volcano Falls’ Dino Rangers and a life-size walking dinosaur, creating memorable photo opportunities throughout the evening.

Following the ribbon cutting, guests enjoyed an exclusive preview of the venue, with the opportunity to experience two immersive 12-hole adventure golf courses and interactive electric darts. Volcano Valley is a prehistoric world of dinosaurs and volcanoes. Carnival Golf offers a colourful contrast with its family-favourite approach, featuring interactive elements with fun at every hole. Throughout the evening, guests also enjoyed interactive electric darts, featuring a range of game modes suitable for all abilities.
As part of the Grand Opening, Volcano Falls continued its long-standing partnership with Rays of Sunshine by donating £2,000 to help grant a wish for a family in the Leeds area. Special guests included four Rays of Sunshine families who have previously had wishes granted: Ella Hargreaves, Ruby Joseph, Isaac O’Kane and Eliza Davies.
