Law firm advises on sale of Chapel Sands Caravan Park
Regional law firm Andrew Jackson Solicitors LLP announces that it has recently advised Woodthorpe Leisure Park Ltd on the sale of Chapel Sands Caravan Park, a prominent mixed holiday and residential park in Chapel St Leonards, Lincolnshire, to a local family business.
Chapel Sands Caravan Park has long been a staple of the local tourism economy, offering a blend of static holiday homes, seasonal touring pitches, and residential park homes.
The buyer is a well-established regional operator with a growing portfolio of regional leisure assets.
The sale of Chapel Sands was led by Jamie Keith, director at specialist business property advisor Christie & Co. Adrian West, property partner, and Daniel Hammond, corporate partner, at Andrew Jackson Solicitors, provided legal advice to Woodthorpe Leisure Park throughout the sale process.
The seller continues to own and operate Woodthorpe Leisure Park, based near Alford in Lincolnshire, which is an award-winning, family-owned and operated leisure business with a longstanding reputation in the sector.
Phillippa Stubbs, company secretary of Woodthorpe Leisure Park Limited, said: – “Chapel Sands Caravan Park has been part of our group for many years, and while it was not an easy decision to sell, we are pleased to see the park in the hands of an experienced new owner. We’re grateful to Jamie, Adrian, and Daniel for their commitment throughout the process, and for ensuring a successful outcome.”
Adrian West added: – “This transaction is another clear indicator of the strength and resilience of the UK holiday park sector, which is reflected in the significant number of similar matters our team has advised on over the past year.
“While the transaction had its complexities, strong demand from buyers ensured we were able to deliver a successful outcome for our client.”
