National Hate Crime Awareness Week: What can businesses do?

Running from 10–17 October, National Hate Crime Awareness Week highlights the importance of tackling hate and creating safer, more inclusive communities.

For businesses, this is an opportunity to consider how workplace culture, staff wellbeing and the way people treat one another can make a difference. Everyone deserves to feel respected at work, and organisations have a role to play in fostering environments where people feel supported and able to speak up.

Compass Community works with organisations to support workplace wellbeing through our free Workplace Wellbeing and Mental Health Ambassador training, delivered by our own trainers.

Investing in staff awareness and wellbeing can be a positive step towards building a more supportive workplace and ensuring employees know how to access appropriate support.

As part of our commitment to creating social value, we’re keen to connect with businesses interested in making a positive difference to their people and communities.
