The Fishermen’s Mission Charity grow in Yorkshire
The Yorkshire coastline, is a region with a rich and strong history of fishing. Our reputation in this region is second to none and we are highly respected for the life changing services we provide.
As a team at the Fishermen’s Mission we provide welfare and pastoral support for active and retired fishermen as well as their families. Daily, it means being visible in fishing communities throughout the UK, building up trust and respect and offering support when needed. It’s a great honour to get to know fishing families and for them to allow us into their lives, often at their most vulnerable time.
Due to the continued success of support along the Yorkshire coast, the team are looking to expand. This is an exciting a new initiative and we are looking for an experienced fundraiser to be part of a team that has a passionate and compassionate outlook. We support each other, and the whole charity works as one to provide vital assistance to our clients – active fishermen, former fishermen and their families.
