Located in the beautiful York De Grey Rooms’ Ballroom, The Belfrey is delighted to host a summer Ceilidh with popular local Ceilidh band Hot Not Bothered. Impact is The Belfrey’s c£11m repair and renovation project to beautifully transform its 16th century medieval church, St Michael le Belfrey, situated next to York Minster. It will make it fit for purpose both now and in the future and help deliver our aims including Serving York and Developing Leaders.

The Belfrey’s leadership development strand includes a thriving Intern programme for young adults and Growing Leaders course. The Belfrey has supported and sent people into church and business settings, benefiting organisations across the North of England and beyond.

As well as partnering with other York churches and charities, The Belfrey delivers key social action initiatives such as a CAP debt advice centre. It is working on an exciting new Visitor Interpretation and will have a flexible, accessible mid-sized venue to offer when the building work is finished in two years time.

We still have a funding shortfall so joining us at the Ceilidh and Auction will make a valuable contribution towards our fundraising campaign.

We would love to see you there!
