End-to-end HRO delivery for a major defence-sector client

How an integrated HRO partnership enabled consistently high fill rates, seamless workforce management, and contract stability for a leading defence organisation.

1. Background / Context

A major defence multinational was required to provide support to a defence training programme. The multi-year programme covered aircraft maintenance, airworthiness, technical upgrades and all supply chain management activities to guarantee yearly training hours. The challenge was to deliver a full turnkey solution that was cost effective and met stringent programme requirements. Many of the roles required for the programme were specialist, and required accredited and experienced staff.

2. The Problem / Challenge

The client was facing persistent challenges in filling specialist, hard-to-source positions critical to maintaining operational capability, which was impacting programme performance. The client required an agile partner that could meet rigorous security vetting standards, supply qualified candidates and be an integrated support function to the programme staff. Low vacancy rates and effective talent management quickly became the main drivers for programme management.
